Lawyer for TLV's Legal Unit

We are looking for one or more lawyers for the newly established legal unit in the Department of Price Regulation and Supervision. We seek someone who wants to work with legal issues within the pharmacy, pharmaceutical, and dental care markets. The legal unit consists of about 6 lawyers who provide legal support to two departments: the Department of Price Regulation and Supervision and the Department of Analysis, Market, and Dental Care.

Within these departments, we are responsible for regulations governing the state dental care support, grants to pharmacies in rural areas, the regulated trade margin that pharmacies can charge for pharmaceuticals and other goods within the pharmaceutical benefits, applications for subsidies and prices for certain pharmaceuticals, and price changes. We also oversee the rules regarding the generic substitution of pharmaceuticals in pharmacies and supervision according to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Act, etc.

As a lawyer at TLV, you will work both independently and in teams with other lawyers and professionals such as medical investigators, analysts, and dentists. We encourage collaboration across unit and departmental boundaries to create consistency and promote learning within the organization. In addition to your colleagues in the department, you will also have support from the authority's legal unit.

About the Job

You will often work on multiple assignments simultaneously, which can vary in complexity. Sometimes you will lead the assignment, and sometimes you will participate as an important part of the team. Additionally, you will plan and conduct legal investigations that can vary in scope.

At TLV, we strive for our lawyers to have a variety of tasks and for there to be flexibility in the distribution of work. Therefore, you will have the opportunity to work in several areas within the authority.

An important part of the work is our regulations. The regulations are reviewed and updated based on the needs we identify through various types of follow-ups. You will assist in making assessments in individual cases and work on changes to regulations when necessary.

As a lawyer with us, you will also work with legal analyses and general legal advice. This may involve conducting confidentiality assessments and responding to consultations. You will also participate in various government assignments and internal development work.

The areas of law that are central to your work are administrative law, public access, and confidentiality, as well as the legislation concerning TLV's areas of activity.

A key part of your work is to communicate the results of your analyses and investigations, both in writing and orally. You will have a lot of contact with colleagues in various roles at TLV, but you may also need to collaborate with other authorities, companies, and organizations outside TLV.

We are looking for someone who has:

• a law degree or a bachelor's degree in law and at least five years of work experience after graduation, of which at least three years of work experience in the last five years in legal work at a government agency or other public sector
• good knowledge of administrative law and public access and confidentiality legislation
• experience in legislative work or regulatory work
• very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish

It is an advantage if you have:

• good knowledge of health and medical care legislation and regulations within TLV's areas of activity
• experience working with government assignments or other larger projects
• experience working in court
• experience collaborating with various professions

Employment Type

Permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
